If you want to build an arts based preschool program, listen to today’s Preschool All Stars story: Brenda Limaldi is an elementary school music teacher, who also started her own business teaching music classes to young children. But after Covid forced her to close her business, Brenda didn’t know what her next step would be. Listen in to discover how you can build an arts based preschool program, too!
Brenda Limaldi has spent almost 25 years teaching elementary school music. She also ran her own business teaching Mommy and Me music classes. But after Covid hit, she had to close her business, and really struggled with what she could do next. She didn’t want to just give up on her dream, but she felt she would have to fit herself into the typical preschool Teacher mold if she wanted to continue working with small children.
Brenda found Joy and the Preschool All Stars by chance, and entered to win one of the big prizes in the Preschool All Stars Podcast giveaway. She ended up winning a Preschool In A Box and a one on one coaching call with Joy! Joy convinced her that she needed to remain true to herself, and that starting an arts based preschool was the way to go.
With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Brenda has created an online preschool, focused on music and the arts. She loves that she is able to login to the Preschool All Stars group and not only get advice from experienced women, but now give advice to other women who were in her shoes not long ago.
Brenda absolutely loves teaching her online preschool class, and already has plans for a local, outdoor, Summer music class! She has started her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, and has big dreams of owning a little red school house when she retires from the district. Brenda persevered through the loss of her first business, and went on to create something that has the potential to grow into something she could only dream about before.
