After homeschooling her 4 kids, Denise Shields became a paraprofessional at an Elementary school. She loved the kids but did not like the way things were being run. Her husband found Joy online and convinced her to start her own preschool. Using Joy’s Model, Denise filled her local preschool and ran that for years.
After Covid hit, Denise had to shut down abruptly with no closure. She saw that Joy was teaching how to set up virtual preschools. Denise jumped on board and absolutely loved teaching online. She decided to put together a virtual curriculum and offer it for free. This brought in thousands of families and hundreds of them stayed for her paid classes once their free subscription was over.
Denise loves the inspiration she has received from Joy and the Preschool All Stars. She loves that whenever she has a question, she can post it in the group and get an answer quickly. Knowing that everyone in there is going through the same thing as her is so comforting. She now gets to offer advice to others who are going through what she was not long ago.
Denise offered her free classes for 3 months to get them hooked, and it worked! She now has over 400 students signed up and paying for her online preschool class! She still runs her local preschool in the morning, and records her virtual preschool class on the weekends to release during the week. She now teaches kids all over the world, bringing in over 20 thousand dollars a month just from her online classes!
