Get Paid What You’re Worth When You Start a Preschool – with Mary Craft

If you want to start getting paid what you are worth, listen to today’s Preschool All Stars story: Marty Craft was teaching middle school until 2018 and was tired of not getting paid what she was worth. She knew she was working hard and providing quality education, but was not getting fairly compensated for her time. She quit the district and started after school tutoring while she figured out her next step. Then she found Joy’s book and decided that starting a preschool was what she was meant to do. Listen in to discover how you can start getting paid what you are worth, too!

Mary Craft was tired of working hard and not being paid for it. She had the education and experience, but she wasn’t making the salary that she knew she deserved. She transitioned from teaching with the school district to doing after school tutoring, but was still not making what she wanted to.

After finding Joy’s book, she realized she needed to change her clientele. She was providing high quality education, and she needed clients who were looking for that. Once she started marketing to her target audience, things started falling into place! Now she not only teaches preschool, but teaches an online math class for high schoolers!

Mary loves the ideas and encouragement that she gets from Joy and the Preschool All Stars. Having a group of ladies from all over the country who are all going through the same thing as her to bounce ideas off of has been invaluable for her.

Mary Craft is so excited that after just a few months, she is already making her salary goal that she set for herself. She has rented a space and is teaching in person and online. She is moving out of state and has plans to open a learning center after her move. She is also writing a book that will include her own curriculum! She loves being in control of her teaching environment and finally being paid what she is worth!
