She had been teaching in the district and had been talked down to about her dream by unsupportive coworkers. Then she decided to take her destiny into her own hands!     Samico Chilton has always wanted to start her own program. She has worked in head start programs and was teaching Kindergarten when she finally decided that she needed to branch out on her own. But when she told her coworkers of her plans, she was met with negativity. She could have let this kill her spirit, but it only pushed her harder towards her dreams

    After Finding Joy through a facebook ad, she realized that she could do this. She started off with an online preschool while still working her day job. After starting a successful online preschool, she had the confidence to build a local preschool from the ground up, literally. She is having a portable building built on her property. 

    With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, She was given the positivity she needed to believe in herself. The encouragement was invaluable to her. She was built up from the very beginning, and that is what she needed to push herself into this next big step in her career. 

    Samico didn’t let other people’s negative energy get her down. She is so proud of what she is able to do all on her own. She is a shining example of what you can accomplish if you believe in yourself. She is starting her local preschool in her home while she waiting for the construction on her new building to be complete. She loves being her own boss, and being in control of her life again!
