She teaches preschool during the day, and early childhood education courses to college students in the evening. She started her own preschool in the 90s, but DeAnn was still looking for some marketing ideas when she found Joy, and ended up building her own online preschool too! DeAnn Jones already had a successful local preschool. But she had just moved and needed some more marketing strategies to fill her program at the new location. She found Joy, right as she was starting up her online preschool challenges, and decided that was something she wanted to do too!
After taking the challenge and posting her founding family script, she signed up 7 students in 7 days! She runs 6 week sessions that coincide with her local preschool lessons. She loves teaching online and loves that she can now offer this option for students all across the country and not just locally.
With the marketing help from Joy and the Preschool All Stars, DeAnn was able to fill her local and online preschool. She uses the HUB and loves that all the tech stuff is done for her! She has even thought of teaching a course to the Preschool All Stars on how to teach preschool!
DeAnn is now teaching the children of her old students! She is thinking of retiring from her local preschool soon, but wants to continue teaching her online preschool. Her education and experience has led her to offer a curriculum that parents trust, and she has been able to adapt that curriculum to her online model.
