When her youngest was about to enter preschool, she figured she needed to get back to work. But she didn’t want to get a job where she wouldn’t have any time to spend with her kids. They live on a military base and she thought of the idea to start a daycare. Then she found Joy and decided to start a preschool!     Carina Peoples was ready to get back to work after being a stay at home mom for years. But she didn’t want to return to her corporate job if it was going to take time away from her family. So she decided she was going to start a daycare. When covid hit, she pulled her kids to homeschool them and realized she wouldn’t have time to homeschool her own kids while watching daycare kids. Starting a preschool was the answer to this conundrum.

    Carina read Joy’s book and decided that this was the best option for her family. She started with a 30 day challenge to get her first clients. Most of her clients live on the military base, but she has a few that drive across the island to attend.  

    Carina loves the insights she gets from Joy and The Preschool All Stars. She is always getting new ideas to incorporate. She was skeptical of the process in the beginning,  but after going through one of Joy’s challenges, she trusts Joy’s step by step process.

    Starting a preschool was the perfect solution for Carina and her family. She holds morning classes, and has the afternoons free to homeschool her own children. She loves that she is in control of her schedule, and how many families she can take in. She is also looking to start tutoring for the kids on base and is excited to see where else this journey will lead her.
