She loved teaching and saw herself doing it forever, until she had a baby. Returning back to school to leave her new baby was much harder than she imagined and she just wasn’t feeling as fulfilled as she used to. Although Alyvia loved being a teacher, she also loved being home with her baby. She needed to do what was best for her family, but she also needed to bring in an income. She tried teaching with VIP kids, but that wasn’t for her either.
Alyvia found Joy online and bought The Preschool in a Box. It took her a while to get into it though, mostly because she was not sure she wanted to do a local preschool with covid happening. Then she realized she could create an online school and still focus on music and movement, which is what she wanted to center her preschool around.
With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Alyvia is filling her online preschool. Within 45 minutes of posting her founding family script, she had her first registration. She loves connecting with other ladies in her state who can answer specific licensing questions.
Alyvia has had a lot of changes lately, moving homes, new baby, quitting her teaching job, but she loves that she is able to adapt her business to her family’s needs. She changed her plans from local preschool to online, and will start back with her plan of a local preschool once covid calms down. She is so happy to be able to stay at home with her baby and run a business out of her home!
