Why Pay for Daycare When You Can Start a Preschool? – with Acea Baker

If you want to stop paying for daycare and start your own preschool, listen to today’s Preschool All Stars story: Acea Baker was a Kindergarten teacher who discovered during the pandemic that she loved working from home. She hated paying for daycare while she went to work. But when she decided to quit her teaching job and stay home, she found herself bored of the stay at home mom life too. Then she found Joy and realized what she needed to do! Listen in to discover how you can stop paying for daycare and start a preschool, too!

Acea Baker was working as a teacher, but her checks were barely covering the costs of daycare for her own children, and it just wasn’t worth it to continue that way. She quit her job and quickly discovered that she was bored as a stay at home mom. After trying to sell bath and body work products, she realized she needed a new plan for bringing in money.

After finding Joy’s book, she knew that her own preschool was exactly what she wanted. She started off thinking she wanted to start a local preschool, but realized that online would work better for her family. She joined the Preschool All Stars, and purchased Preschool in a Box, and she was ready to go!

With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Acea was able to hit the ground running! She was so surprised at how much Joy offered in the Preschool All Stars group, and the Preschool in a Box. She loves the done for you forms, and all of the info she has been given in the group.

Acea started with only one student, faithfully showing up for her, while knowing if she kept at it, more students would come. She now has 9 students signed up for her online class! She focuses on math and literacy and Jesus. She loves that she can be home with her kids, making money, and creating her own engaging program!
