She was still working her day job as a kindergarten teacher, and overcoming the negativity from the people around her who didn’t believe she could make her dream of being a preschool owner into a reality. Now, just a year later, she has built a preschool building on her property, and filled her local preschool! Listen in to discover how you can build a preschool on your property, too!

    Samico Chilton was running her online preschool, but had a goal of breaking ground on a building on her corner lot property to run a local preschool program. Now, less than a year later, she has her local preschool, and is in the process of building an addition to her existing building! 

    After overcoming a lot of negativity to open her online preschool, Samico knew that she was going to continue with her preschool journey and build a local program on her property, where she was the boss. She isn’t licensed, so she doesn’t have to deal with regulations from anyone. She can run things exactly the way she wants, without all of the red tape. Now her program is full and she is thriving as a business owner.

    The Preschool All Stars have been there every step of the way as Samico expanded her program from online to local. In fact, she got the idea to build the building on her property from a Preschool All Star to begin with!

    Now that she has crushed her original goal of building a preschool, she has purchased the lot next to her and will be adding a Kindergarten program! She was able to apply for grants to help with costs, and is looking to take the next step in the next year or two. She can’t believe how far she has come in such a short time period and absolutely loves the freedom of being her own boss.
