She was doing well with enrollment, and just trying to figure out her new life as a business owner and single mom. Now she is remarried with a new baby on the way, expanding her business to online AND in the process of creating a microschool for older children! 3 years ago, Kiersten Gillman had no idea how she was going to afford the new house she just bought. She was fresh out of a bad marriage, and newly unemployed. But she had 4 kids to take care of, and a mortgage to pay. She decided to go all in and start a preschool, and she never could have dreamed where she would be just 3 years later!
Kiersten talks to us about everything she has learned in the last 3 years. How she has had to become a more patient person, up her parent engagement, and manage her business and family. She is now pregnant and deciding how she is going to handle teaching with a new baby while expanding her business on all fronts.
With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Kiersten has built her business beyond what she could have imagined. She is already half full for next year, and is now enlisting their support as she embarks on the next phase of her business.
Kiersten is so proud of all she has accomplished in such a short time. She never could have imagined all that she could accomplish on her own when she took a leap of faith to embark on her preschool journey. She is now expanding to start an online program, which will launch in a few months. She is also purchasing a plot of land next to her property and has plans to open a microschool to cater to older children!
