My youngest is 4 1/2 years old (the youngest of 3 children) and will be going to Kindergarten next year. As most stay-at-home moms know, we look forward to that day when all our children are finally in school so we can have some MOM TIME!
But, after getting remarried a year ago to a wonderful man without any children, we’ve always hoped to have a few of our own as well. So while I knew that meant that I would have to say Goodbye to my body again, and deal with morning sickness again, and struggle with all those out-of-whack hormones again, I’ve been eagerly looking forward to becoming pregnant. And now I am!
So with the New Year, I have lots of exciting things in store for 2010! Not only will we have a brand new bundle of joy joining us in July (21st is the due date!) but we’ll also be unveiling a whole slew of fantastic new products for our preschool teachers over the next few months! Truly a wonderful year coming up!
Thanks for joining us on this journey!
YOUR TURN!
Please leave a comment with your well-wishes. It’ll be great to read them when I’m having one of those “down” days. And if you have any advice for me (I don’t even remember what the baby stage is like!) feel free to give it, as this will definitely feel like a brand new experience for me and my hubby.
I was going to recommend you go to the Applebees by Dotcomsecrets and drink
the really tall beers, they are very good.

May this year bring you lots of happiness and joy as I know your precious baby will!!
Hi Joy!
That’s AWESOME! Congratulations! My 1st 3 months are always so miserable with morning sickness. Hang in there!

What, no pictures Joy? 😉
Holy Smokes Joy!! So excited for you both. All I have to say about morning sickness is to eat often and get lots of protein. When I didn’t feel like eating but knew I needed to a protein shake or an ensure worked wonders and was easy to quickly guzzle down. July is my favorite month:) Maybe you’ll be early and the baby will come on the 7th! Keep in touch.
Joy,
Congratulations! You are so blessed to have 3 kids – and be able to have more! We wish you great pregnancy time and a lot of happy and memorable moments with your growing family!

Congrats Joy,
What a wonderful way to start the New Year. Stay positive and visualise what you desire. The mind is so powerful. I had the most amazing pregnancy with my daughter and the only ‘symptom’ I experienced was tiredness during the first trimester. I did yoga before and during the pregnancy (at home) this can help balance hormones and help with moods, also great for the body to help with strength and flexibility which you need during birthing. Eat foods to make your body more alkaline as this will help with morning sickness. If you would like a list of alkali forming foods let me know. Umboshi paste is also very good for morning sickness. Affirmations are also very good to help with the changes that occur not only to your body but also the dynamics within the family. Kinesiology is also a great modality which can help with all sorts of things/changes that occur – morning sickness, having a new born baby, giving birth, fears, worries….. This modality is great not only for you but if hubby has concerns. Keep me posted. I’ll have my site up soon about Preconception Tips.
All the best
