It’s A…

Yesterday we had our second ultrasound, where we found out what our baby is!

(Here’s a picture of me at 20 weeks!  FINALLY showing!)

My husband said the baby looks like a dinosaur.

I think its spine still resembles a lizard.

But no, it’s not a dinosaur, or a lizard, or even a dog or a cat.  (Though those were high on my daughter’s wish list this year!)  It’s a little baby boy or girl, and I thought it would be fun to play a little gender guessing game with you!

So whether you’re a psychic or have a great understanding of old pregnancy wive’s tales, or even if you are just a great guesser… Have fun guessing what we’re having!

    1. Girl ~ heart rate is high, shaped like a watermelon. The cravings throw me off though…indicates boy, but I had the same thing with both my girls!

    2. Heart rate seems high, like a girl…but it tends to get lower as they progress. It’s just so close to 150 (my usual benchmark) that I’m on the fence! I’m going to go out on a limb and say BOY, because it COULD be just that…and everybody needs a brother! :o)

    3. My mother had the same pattern (sex of children) that you have and her fouth child was a girl…me! So I am going to say girl. But I think you need a boy to even things out.

    4. It’s a boy. No morning sickness…that’s the only thing that I have to compare to with my pregnancies. My girl made me moody and sick. Are you moody?

Hello Joy,this is my first time communicating with you. What I would like to do first is to thank you for being so informative about starting a preschool. Please keep me on your list. Now since you are carring high, I will say you are carring a beautiful baby boy.

Hi Joy congratulations. I also believe its a boy. good luck hope we’re right.

    7. Congratulations !!! I can tell by your body shape and the way you carry her . I am almost certain it’s a girl..

    8. Congratulations! My mother always said that you take the month you conceived ( Oct — so 10) and add it to the age you were when you conceived. If it is an even number it is a girl if it is an odd number it’s a boy. Personally I have found if you don’t look pregnant from the back its a boy — if you look like a balloon from the back it’s a girl! LOL!
