Build an Online Summer Enrichment Program – with Sharonda Gray

If you want to build an online summer enrichment program, listen to today’s Preschool All Stars story: Sharonda Gray has been a preschool teacher for 25 years. Since the pandemic started, she has been teaching preschool remotely in the school district and loving it. She had thought about starting a childcare business years ago, but now using an online platform seemed like the route to go. Listen in to discover how you can build an online summer enrichment program, too!

Sharonda Gray worked in daycare before teaching preschool for the past few decades. She now teaches preschool in the school district and loves her job. She has grown to love teaching online this past year, and wondered why she couldn’t continue doing it for herself throughout the summer.

Sharonda had attempted to start her own daycare years ago, but got discouraged quickly with everything that needed to be done on the business side that she did not feel prepared for. She also teaches early childhood education as an adjunct professor at a university. Once she saw Joy’s ad for an online preschool, it seemed like the natural next step to start her own online preschool.

With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, she had a system already in place to help her succeed. She now had support and step by step instructions on how to implement an online program, which was exactly what she needed to complete the set up of her own online summer enrichment program.

Sharonda has so much experience in Early Childhood Education, she just needed to take the next step in creating her own program. She didn’t want to leave the district because she loves her job. But she has replaced her summer job with her own online summer enrichment program and can’t wait to see where this takes her!
