Fill Your Local Preschool Classes – Follow up with Cordelia Karn

If you want to learn how to feed your student’s bodies and minds, listen to today’s Preschool All Stars story: Last time we spoke with Cordelia Karn, she had just opened up her online preschool and had plans to open her local preschool in the near future. Today, Cordelia speaks to us about how she uses cooking and healthy foods to teach her local students how to be more independent, and the importance of putting good food into our bodies.  Listen in to discover how you can nourish your students minds and bodies, too!

Cordelia has worked so hard in the past year to get her local preschool up and running. She  considers it another one of her babies, and she wants to put the love into it that she does with her family. One of the ways Cordelia shows love is through cooking, and she thought including this aspect into her program would be a great opportunity.

Cordelia markets to all of her families that she provides healthy, organic, home cooked meals for all of the children in her care. This gives parents the peace of mind that comes with the knowledge that their children are being fed high quality foods and ingredients, which is not the norm for most preschool settings.

With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Cordelia’s local preschool is now full!  She absolutely loves her students, families, and the program she has built. She has gotten so many ideas, tech help, and never ending support from the group.

Cordelia loves that she gets to cook high quality meals for all of the children in her care. She includes her students in the cooking process, even giving them chef hats and aprons to wear while cooking, in hopes that it will instill a lifelong love of cooking. She wants her students to understand the importance of what we put in our bodies, and the effects it has on our overall well being.
