From Online Preschool to Local and More! – Follow Up with Miranda Rodriguez

If you want to expand from an online preschool to a local preschool, listen to today’s Preschool All Stars story: Miranda Rodriguez had opened a successful online preschool using Joy’s program. Last time we spoke she was teaching and looking to hire teachers for her online class. But she was looking ahead to open her local preschool when the time was right. Listen in to discover how you can expand from online preschool to local preschool, too!

Miranda Rodriguez was well into her first year of running a successful online bilingual preschool. She had already hired 4 teachers to teach her many different online classes, she even added an online homeschool enrichment class! But it was time to keep reaching towards her dream of a local preschool.

Miranda found a church that had the same vision as she did, and was able to get a great deal on two classrooms for her local classes. She set up two morning classes and both classes were full before she knew it! But then she was running into the problem of curriculum. She wanted a great bilingual preschool curriculum and wasn’t having any luck finding what she wanted. So in true Preschool All Star fashion, she set out to fix that problem too!

Miranda is so grateful for Joy and The Preschool All Stars and all of the help they have given her along this journey. She is even collaborating with some of the All Stars as she starts her new project of developing her new bilingual curriculum!

In the span of one year, Miranda opened an online preschool, and hired teachers to keep that going, she opened a local preschool and filled her classes, and now she is collaborating with other Hispanic and bilingual educators, authors, and content creators to highlight their work and create her own curriculum! Miranda only opened her local preschool a few weeks ago, but she is already on a waitlist. So her plan is to open afternoon classes this spring, and  hire teachers for her local class so she can work on all her other projects!
