Join the Great Resignation and Start a Preschool – with Shelli LoCicero

If you want to resign from your preschool position and start your own preschool, listen to today’s Preschool All Stars story: Shelli LoCicero has worked in early childhood for a long time. She had been loyal to her preschool for years, and was taken off the schedule without a thought when covid hit. She was upset that she had invested so much time in someone else’s dream, only to be pushed by the wayside so easily. So she decided to join “The Great Resignation” and start her own preschool. But she had no business experience and was struggling with the logistics of how to make that happen, until she found Joy! Listen in to discover how you can resign from your job and start a preschool, too!

Shelly LoCicero loved her job as a preschool teacher. But after they took her off the schedule during covid, she decided she needed to work a job that cared about her. She realized no employer would care about her well being as much as she does. So She resigned to start her own preschool.

After Reading Joy’s book, all of her questions and concerns about the business side of things were answered. She had the tools to get started and she jumped right in. After Joining The Preschool All Stars and completing one of Joy’s challenges, Shelli was well on her way to making her dream come true.

With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Shelli grew more confident in her business ability. She loves the support she receives from the group and all of the advice from ladies who are going through the same thing she is.

Shelli has also joined a women’s business group that offers counseling, training, and networking help, which is helping her hone her craft even more. She is figuring out how to delegate tasks to those around her, ask for help, and building her confidence in herself as a business owner. She has plans to expand and open a center eventually. She finally feels valued and secure in her work, and is loving being her own boss.
