Teniesha Nelms wanted to continue working with kids, but every job she got was affected by the fact that her own childcare situation was unreliable. How could she keep a job when she was constantly having to call out to pick up her kids? She needed a better solution that brought in money, while allowing her the flexibility to stay with her own kids.
After finding Joy’s book, Teniesha decided this was something that would work for her. Setting her own schedule was exactly what she needed to continue working in the early childhood field.
With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Teniesha was able to set up a beautiful website and get started quickly with an online preschool program. She was so nervous to take the leap, but after finding her founding family script, she signed up 5 students!
Teniesha receives amazing feedback from all of her preschool families, and she is excited to expand her program and sign up more students. She loves the flexibility it offers, and being her own boss again. Involving her kids in her programs is a dream come true, and she can’t wait to see where this journey takes her.
