Support the Whole Family When You Start a Preschool – with Jeanette Massey

If you want to support the whole family, not just your students, listen to today’s Preschool All Stars story: Jeanette Massey has had a heart to help families for as long as she can remember. She struggled with some toxicity in her own family and knew that she made it to where she is today because of the support she received from her community. She wanted to offer that support to other families, and starting a preschool was her way to do that. Listen in to discover how you can support your preschool families, too!

Jeanette Massey had it on her heart to help families. She has wanted to do that through preschool, but hadn’t quite gotten the grasp of how to start a program by herself. She had been searching for a way to purchase a building, and stuck on how to make that happen, then she found Joy.

After finding Joy online and reading her book, Jeanette discovered that she could start an online preschool! She didn’t even know that was a thing, but after joining the Preschool All Starts, She decided that needed to be HER thing! Jeanette decided to focus on the whole family, because she knows that when students aren’t learning in school, it often traces back to troubles at home.

With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Jeanette has filled her first online preschool class! Joy taught her how to set up a program, make it her own, and market it accordingly. She loves the guidance and support she receives from the group on a daily basis.

Jeanette has added a behavioral therapist to her program, and her next step is to add a family counselor. She wants to give families the tools to succeed at home, so their children can escape the fate of so many others who grow up in a toxic home environment. Her goal is to expand her program to offer a local option, and open it up to elementary and middle school students. She wants all of her families to know that she is there for them in whatever way they need. She supports the parents while teaching the kids, so she can help solidify a strong family unit.
