Onica King loves kids and teaching, but she was over the daycare life, and once her health issues made it impossible for her to continue teaching in the district, she felt completely stuck. What could she do to continue teaching, which she loves, while still taking care of herself and staying healthy? That’s when she decided to start an online preschool!
After reading Joy’s book, Onica was on board. Joy told her she needed to take back her power and that really spoke to her. This was how she could take her power back! After setting up her LLC, she started to feel her self confidence rise. She was making things happen on her own. She was taking control of her life, even in the midst of so many things that were out of her control.
Onica loves the comradery she feels from Joy and The Preschool All Stars. She also loves That she can offer help to other ladies who are starting out on their own journey!
Onica says that this is the best decision she has ever made. She took back control that she thought she had lost due to health issues and the uncertainty of the pandemic. She has plans to open a local preschool once covid is under control, but for now, she will continue her online preschool.
