Teach What You Want to Teach with Your Own Preschool Business – with Geni Morse

If you want to teach what you want to teach, listen to today’s Preschool All Stars story: Geni Morse was a preschool teacher and foster mom. She was so tired of having to teach from textbooks that she knew were not developmentally appropriate. Then she decided to take things into her own hands. Listen in to discover how you can teach what you want to teach when you start a preschool, too!

Geni Morse has taught preschool forever. But it was getting to the point where she was being forced to teach in ways that she didn’t feel were developmentally appropriate. After the pandemic, she quit her job to stay home with her family and focus on them. She thought about starting a daycare, until Joy’s ad popped up on her news feed.

After taking in 4 foster kids, making it a total of 8 kids in her house, she was struggling to make this preschool dream come true. She was feeling overwhelmed, defeated and was ready to give up. After a Monday motivation post from Joy, Geni was able to reach out to get the support she needed to continue her journey.

With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Geni had the tools to fill her preschool in just a few weeks. She used Joy’s marketing material and plastered them everywhere she could think of. The Preschool All Stars gave her the motivation and support she needed to keep going when she was ready to give up.

Not only has Geni filled her preschool, but she has a substantial wait list after only 3 weeks of being open! She is so happy that she didn’t give up when she was in the depths of despair, because today she is so happy to teach exactly the way she wants to teach. She realized that she couldn’t do this without the support of her friends, family, and The Preschool All Stars! Her two year plan is to open a center and hire teachers. Her 5 year plan is to open a second facility and keep growing from there!
