After the birth of her second child, she just couldn’t find a childcare solution that would work for her. She decided to try online tutoring, and that morphed into so much more!     Charity Muhammad needed a change after her second child was born. Her job as a bakery manager just wasn’t going to cut it if she had to pay for 2 kids in daycare. She always wanted to homeschool her kids, and when she found Joy, she realized that this could be the opportunity she has been searching for.

    After reading Joy’s book, she decided to create a virtual tutoring program. She started teaching virtual preschool, and tutoring online. After doing this for a bit, she decided to set up a local program. She wanted to be able to serve the families in her community and didn’t want to just limit her program to preschoolers, so she now teaches and tutors children 2-18! 

    With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Charity has built a unique, and exciting program that she is so proud of. She loves the support and encouragement she receives from all of the ladies in the group.

    Charity works with students of all ages, and markets her school as a Montessori based homeschool Pod. She wanted to create something different that catered to all ages, learning styles, and children with disabilities. She loves that her own children can be involved in her program, and that she has  such a wide reach for her community, offering local and online classes. She plans to expand her program into a bigger building in the future so she can have different classrooms for each age group.
