Katherine has worked as a Montessori preschool teacher for a decade and has loved it. She is passionate about the kids and Montessori, but as new management came in to run the school that she previously loved, she knew she needed to make a change.
On her search for a new job, she found Joy’s book and was instantly sold on the idea of starting her own preschool. But when she realized she wouldn’t be able to run it out of her home, she didn’t know where to turn. Then she got a phone call from an investor looking to fund a Montessori preschool program and took it as a sign that she was on the right path.

Katherine has learned a lot in the past few months. Working with investors has been such a blessing, but has also come with a surrendering of self. She is learning to trust others and trust herself to do the job they are assigned with the skills they have. She is so excited to see where this journey will take her and can’t wait to see what is in store for her amazing new preschool!
